Hide Assessment Instrument

As you continue to develop and revise Assessment Instruments, you may occasionally want to hide it from your list - this lesson will teach you how. Hiding Assessment Instruments (rubrics) ensures that they would not be used in new assessments. The ‘Hide’ function can essentially accomplish this by removing the instrument from circulation. Hidden instruments are no longer visible as an option on any of the drop-down lists for linking to Tables of Contents, Outcomes, Manual Assessment, Escalation, or Pegging schemes.

NOTE: To hide an Assessment Instrument, you must first unlink the Instrument from any Table of Contents that it has been linked to. It is not necessary, however, to unlink the Instrument from Outcomes. Allowing these links to remain intact, you will retain legacy data for reporting.

4. Locate the Assessment Instrument that you would like to view and click on it to reveal its options. Select Hide.
