Check Document Originality with TurnItIn
Anthology Portfolio's integration with Turnitin enables students to generate an originality report from within their portfolios. This lesson will walk you through the process of generating and viewing such a report.
NOTE: This feature is only available if your institution's administrators have enabled it. If you do not see the "Check Originality" option associated with uploaded documents, you do not have access to the Turnitin integration.
Step 1: Check Originality
1. Click on the Check Originality button that is associated with the document.
NOTE: This option will only be available on uploaded documents.
Step 2: Launch Document Viewer
The Turnitin Originality Report may take a few moments to load. Once it has, a notice will appear in green.
2. Click on the Launch Turnitin Document Viewer in a New Window button.
Step 3: Read User Agreement
3. Carefully read the Turnitin User Agreement, and click on the I agree -- continue or I disagree -- logout button.
If you select "I disagree" you will not be able to proceed.
Step 4: View Originality Report
The Turnitin Originality Report will appear in a new browser window. Use the Turnitin tools to review it.
If you have any questions regarding the report, please visit Turnitin's Help Center and enter the search term "Originality Report".
